Each of the 347 guest rooms has been totally refurbished from floor to ceiling during the recent renovation program. The emphasis was to "bring the outdoors in" through design and decor changes. The rooms are 500 square feet in size and are decorated in warn. white, beige, and cream colors to create a feeling of home. Each room features a private lanai offering views of the ocean, our lush tropical gardens, or Mt. Haleakala. Amenities include remote-control cable television, VCR's, modem telephone with fax and answering machine capability, minibars and in-room safes. In addition, deluxe bath amenities along with hair dryers, personal make-up mirrors, and traditional Hapi coats add a personalized touch.

Our main building is uniquely shaped in the form of a "T" affording a variety of view category offerings. The three wings are named Kihei, Makai, and Makena. Our room breakdown is as follows.

Oceanview: 134 rooms Located on the ocean side of the hotel. These rooms offer fabulous views of the blue Pacific Ocean.
Oceanside: 80 rooms Located on the lower floors of the ocean side of the hotel. These rooms may offer a partial ocean view, or a view of the lush tropical landscape.
Deluxe Mountainside: 83 rooms Located on the mountain side of the hotel. These rooms face beautiful Mt. Haleakala and our lush tropical gardens.
Mokapu Beach Club: 26 rooms This is our exclusive wing of 26 rooms located ocean front. Rooms in this category offer guests the services of our Club Host, upgraded guest room amenities, continental breakfast daily, private cabana beach chairs, and rooms decorated with traditional Hawaiian quilts.
Makai Suites: 10 suites These suites, located at the end of the Makai wing of the hotel, offer beautiful ocean views. The parlor area is 500 square feet and is suitable for entertaining up to 10 people. The master bedroom features a telescope for whale watching and a king size bed. A second connecting bedroom is available with one queen bed.
Hospitality Suites: Aloha Suite - features a parlor of 1,500 square feet with space to accommodate 30-50 people. The connecting master bedroom is a suite in itself with a private sitting room and Jacuzzi tub.
Alii Suite: This suite offers a parlor of 1,000 square feet with space to accommodate 20-30 people. Two connecting bedrooms are available.

Beach and Pool: We feature two fresh water swimming pools, two whirlpool spas, and one of Maui's finest beaches. Our beach and pool staff are available to assist with guest needs. Beach towels, chaise lounges, and backrests are available for our guests use. Pool hours are from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and our whirlpools are available from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm.
Concierge Service: Our Concierge staff can assist with airline reservations, transportation, baby-sitting, sight-seeing, and other special services including our many guest activities.
Other Services: Bell service, valet, laundry, mail and messenger center, business services, and check cashing are available. In addition, ice dispensers, and coin operated laundry facilities are located in each wing.
Ocean Activities Center: The staff at Ocean Activities Center, located in the lobby and our Mokapu Beach Club, can be of assistance with snorkeling, scuba, wind surfing, catamaran cruises, whale watching, deep sea fishing and a variety of aquatic activities. In addition, they can assist with information and reservations for helicopter excursions, horseback riding, bicycle tours and other activities.
